Sun, August 8, 2004 - 9:12 PMI've seen teh first one. It is very nice. I still have to get a region 1 version of the dvd. Mine is 3 or something, and I dont have a region-free dvd player yet. I understand that it was a manga first and there is an anime version as well. (I dont know this to be fact) -

Tue, August 10, 2004 - 12:25 PMoops...i meant to put a comma in-between the two. it was meant to say "battle royale, berzerk". They are two seperate managas. but if you like crazy, bloody, action packed mangas then check out berzerk. it's a badass comic with crazy weapons and gory fights. -

Also, I confirmed that there is a manga. Haven't found it in town yet, but I haven't looked REALLY hard.
I haven't read the BR novle or manga yet, as I have been busy with Priest and a couple of other titles. I don't have the spare money to get too much. Priest should be finishing up in another couple of months. -

Wed, August 11, 2004 - 12:27 AMThe Manga is kinda (really) skeevy at times. Whether it's excesiv sex or violence, it gets to a point of ridiculousness. I still like it becuase the gore is badass, but it's just a little overused. The novel however (front what I've read so far) is spot on good.
