Which did you like Best? Movie, Book, or Manga?

I've seen the movie, I finished the first manga from Tokyopop, and I'm about into page 100 of the book. So far I like them all. I can't decide. They all have thier high points. I think the comic version helped me identify more of the characters because of the illustration styles, then the novel is where you learn more about what was going on in the movie. All so very good....

Read the novel

The movie was originally a novel by Koushun Takami. I just recently read it and I enjoyed it just as much - if not more then the movie. You get to learn a lot more about the characters histories and there motivations for playing or not playing the game. There are some little differences in the plot and a cool supporting character, who is a nobody in the movie. Trust me... even if you don't like to read, you won't be able to put this book down.

T-Shirt Help

Does anyone know where I can purchase a BR t-shirt? I'm looking for a specific one. It's black with the red BR logo on it. The logo is pretty big on the front, the ones i have seen for sale the logo's are all puny and teeny weenie. I hear you can buy them from Japan, but I'm a little suspicious of shipping and stuff since I'm here in LA. Any help would be appreciated!!

Ichii the Killer

Fucking twacked!!! So great. Ichii and Takihara are 2 of the hardest characters ever.

It's a japanese B-movie about Shinjuku? Yakuzas and a gangwar. Very violent and graphic. Some sick torture and rape and S&M. Splatterflick/ shock-core status. Check it.

Kill Bill, Vol. 1

What did you think about Kill Bill?

I thought the violence was typical Japanese and thought some of the violent scenes had similarities to Battle Royale.

Also, Chiaki Kuriyama is amazing in both Kill Bill and Battle Royale. She has this really cool killer attitude.
